George at Asda have sponsored FAD Fashion Futures since 2011.

George’s financial support makes a huge difference to FAD. The money they give provides free workshop places for disadvantaged young people, as well as funding the Fashion Futures final at London Fashion Week.

The George design team also actively volunteer their time to projects - from speaking at FAD career days and volunteering in workshops, to supporting past Fashion Futures students through the FAD mentoring scheme.

Graduate Fashion Week

As well as sponsoring Fashion Futures, George are also headline sponsors of Graduate Fashion Week (GFW), which is great news for UK undergraduates and FAD teens.

This year George set Fashion Futures students two customising challenges, the results of which were showcased on their stand at GFW in June 2014. See their amazing festival denim and hip footwear designs here.

FAD young customisers and mentees were invited to spend a day with the George team at GFW, helping out on the stand and visiting the graduate shows. Read about their GFW highlights here.
