Fashion Futures 2015 launches with a fun research day at the V&A museum in South Kensington, renowned for its inspiring collection of fashion and decorative objects.

This is followed by 10 weeks of Saturday morning workshops, where students receive expert tuition from industry mentors to learn about the complete fashion design process - from initial research and garment design to technical drawing, pattern cutting and constructing a finished toile.

One of the highlights of the Fashion Futures project is the half term workshops, where students will have the opportunity to visit the George design team at their offices in Carnaby street for a session on careers and trends research.

At the end of the 10 week course the young designers present their work to a panel of industry experts, in the hope of being selected for the Fashion Futures Final at London Fashion Week.
