Described by Vogue.com as an “undeniable springboard”, the FAD undergraduate competition exists to inspire, promote and support intelligent fashion design.
For 15 years FAD has challenged fashion students to think outside the commercial box; encouraging them to look to art, culture and wider social trends for inspiration. Our forward thinking briefs make FAD a “must enter” competition for universities.
Since 2008 FAD has worked in collaboration with Fashion Scout to bring the best of UK undergraduate talent to the London Fashion Week catwalk.
Past FAD Competition finalists include womenswear designer David Koma; 2010 Graduate Fashion Week winner Rebecca Thomson and RCA graduates Emma Hardstaff and Nneka Okorie.
