FASHIONING FUTURES SINCE 2005

FAD Fashion Futures is an award-winning, industry-focused fashion programme for creative Londoners aged 16-19.  It has launched the careers of fashion professionals from designers to pattern cutters, garment techs, buyers and product developers.  It has 3 parts:

1. Saturday Workshops (January-March). Our specialist tutors and industry mentors teach the fundamentals of fashion, from inspiration and design, through learning about fabrics and understanding your customer, to technical drawing, pattern cutting and constructing a toile.

2. Summer School (July) Selected students get the opportunity to participate in our intensive week of workshops to revise and construct their final looks for the catwalk.

3. Fashion Futures Final hits London Fashion Week in September, showcasing the youngest designers to show at Fashion Week.

We are  proud of the many Fashion Futures graduates who return as volunteers to pass on their skills, knowledge and experience to the next generation.

Fashion Futures is for everyone, but we give priority to young people from backgrounds which are underrepresented in the fashion industry, including BME and low-income backgrounds.

You can apply between November and early January each year – email info@fad.org.uk for an application form.

You can shop products by talented Fashion Futures graduates in  FAD Store.
