Stanley, from St Angela's and St Bonaventure's Sixth Form in Newham studies Textiles, Art and Business A-Level. He was a finalist in FAD Fashion Futures 2 2006.

For him, "The best bit was the designing and the making. Getting from 2D to 3D. I wanted to get more insight into the fashion industry and thought FF2 was a good opportunity to develop my skills and get information from other people who think differently to my teachers and people I meet in my daily life.

What it taught me was to be as creative but as practical as possible. To be creative on the page but to make sure that the garment fits its purpose/the brief.

In the future I would like to go to London College of Fashion to do the foundation year."
