At the seventh workshop in the Fashion Futures programme, students were making excellent progress in constructing their final toiles.
As some of the young designers were stitching pattern pieces together, others were applying features including ruffles, pockets and embellishments.
Some of the young designers explained how their inspirations from natural phenomena – ranging from fungi and plants to marine life and animal habitats – is translating into 3-D garments.
Thank you to all the volunteers who are supporting the young people to make their designs a reality. We are grateful to Asos and NatWest Skills and Opportunities Fund who support Fashion Futures 2019.
