WINNER OF THE IST FAD GRADUATE COMPETITION

A student from Central Saint Martin�s has won the 2001 FAD Graduate Fashion Competition. Eyuuki Iyamamoto took his inspiration from the architecture of Canary Wharf for his designs. Colour, line and texture reflect the Wharf�s metal constructs; the resulting garments are tailored, rich and elegant. The judges commended not only Iyamamoto�s innovative and creative designs, but also the translation of the original idea into sophisticated, modern and wearable clothes.
