WINNER OF THE IST FAD GRADUATE COMPETITION
URBAN-CLASSICS

A student from Central Saint Martin’s has won the 2001 FAD Graduate Fashion Competition. Eyuuki Iyamamoto took his inspiration from the architecture of Canary Wharf for his designs. Colour, line and texture reflect the Wharf’s metal constructs; the resulting garments are tailored, rich and elegant. The judges commended not only Iyamamoto’s innovative and creative designs, but also the translation of the original idea into sophisticated, modern and wearable clothes.
