Barcelona has been a city of inspiration not only to architecture but also to culture and design, making it perhaps the most innovative and visionary of European cities. In 2004 Barcelona celebrates the centenary of the birth of the painter Salvador Dali.

2005 FAD COMPETITION | Urban Neo-nationalism: A Tale of Two Cities
We start our dream tour at St Petersburg - built on the great Neva River with the magnificent Winter Palace, built by Catherine the Great, as a backdrop. We then board the overnight
sleeper to Moscow, ploughing through the bleak landscape hooded and cloaked in snow, and dotted with tiny dachas.
