2011 FASHION FUTURES 1: SALFORD

The FAD team travelled to Greater Manchester to spend a week (27th June - 1st July) with creative teengers from the borough of Salford at the University of Salford.

Working to the 'Kakkoii' brief, the Year 10 students experimented with colour and textiles to create their vibrant Japanese inspired designs.

"I’ve learned you have to be well skilled for the future if you want to study at college or university. It was a really good experience to help us decide what we want to do in the future." Emma, St George’s RC High School

"I enjoyed the fashion illustration session because it was fun and fast." Courtney, Albion High School

"I have learnt how to work together in a group and how to communicate with other people." Mehreen, Albion High School
