2013 WORKSHOPS

Fashion Futures 2013 launched on Saturday 19th January at the V&A museum in South London.

Close to one hundred 16-18 year olds from 21 different boroughs across the capital turned up for the launch. They spent a productive day with the FAD team learning about the project and exploring the new fashion and furniture galleries; looking to environment and the architecture of everyday objects for design inspiration. The next step for the teen designers will be to design, pattern cut and construct their own unique garments in just ten weeks of practical fashion workshops. Follow their progress and see photos from the Saturday workshops on the FAD blog.
